Sugar Bowl

About six months ago Casey broke our sugar bowl.  It wasn't fancy or anything, but we haven't replaced it since.

Instead, every time I put sugar in my coffee (which is pretty much every morning), I simply dip my spoon into the giant bag of sugar in our pantry.

Classy stuff.

This morning I desperately needed a coffee.  My kids are usually great sleepers, but last night was not representative of such.  Casey was up pretty much every hour on the hour.  And why?  He's not sick.  He has no fever.  He was just being an ASSHOLE (though a very cute and adorable one).

After the 5:30 wake up, I was finally drifting back to sleep, when Braden started screaming for me. I screamed through the wall we share:  Braden, it's too early!  But he just kept on.

I stumbled in his room around 5:45 saying, What?????

He had wet the bed.  WONDERFUL.

I never did fall back to sleep.

So needless to say, this morning I needed a cup of coffee.

I brewed it in the Keurig.  I added cream.  I added sugar.  I put it to my lips and What the F????

I put flour in my coffee instead of sugar.

Time to get a new sugar bowl.

Time to go back to bed.

It's going to be a long one today....

  2. I'm so glad I don't put sugar in my coffee ... or that senerio you just described would probably reflect the story of my life :)
